Tiger Monkeys Stalking the Wild Passion Fruit

As soon as those Tiger Monkeys were off the needles, they leapt off to stalk their prey. I caught up with them at the border. They were, apparently, climbing over the fence...managed to get themselves all tangled up in the passion fruit vines.

In the first picture, you see them frozen like deer in the headlights. Notice the tiger pattern...completely unplanned and unprovoked. I knit one sock after the next with utter disregard for symmetry. In the second pic, they seem to be making a run for it.

Hi Yvonne! Yes...it seems that way sometimes. Maybe I should change the name to Running Tiger monkeys! The yarn pattern does give the sock design a lot of movement. Or, maybe it's the other way around?

Love the socks and the photos are priceless. Saw you on one of the socklists and just had to visit a blog with such a stunningly clever name (does anyone ever mention that?). I think I have some Trampoline in my stash that I might have to dig out soon. Little Knits has been one of my favorites ever since they gave a percent of sales to Hurricane Katrina relief. Not to mention the great yarn and the great prices.

LOL. This is the best sock post I've ever seen! Love the action shots ;-) I've never knit socks, but you're inspiring me to try; yours are so lively...
